The idea
A coffee shop hiding in a Breton bistro
Ty Louis isn’t only a lunch and dinner spot. Because we serve non-stop from Tuesday to Saturday, the afternoon is open for anyone who just wants to sit down with a coffee, a tea or a café gourmand, between Bastille and Nation.

Can I drop in just for a coffee?
Yes. We’re open non-stop Tuesday to Saturday (12 pm – 11 pm), so in the afternoon you can sit down for a coffee, a tea or a café gourmand without ordering a full meal. In the warmer months, enjoy it on the terrace.
What is a café gourmand?
A coffee served with a few homemade Breton petits fours. A lovely afternoon break, or a sweet way to round off a meal.
Do you serve brunch?
Not as a regular service for now. Brunch is part of our workshops and events — for example our bracelet-making workshops with Maison Exquiz, brunch included. Dates are announced on our Instagram @letylouis.
Is there a terrace and Wi-Fi?
Yes: a pop-up terrace in the warmer months (April to October), an air-conditioned room and free Wi-Fi — everything for a proper break, alone or with friends.
What are the café hours?
Tuesday to Saturday, 12 pm to 11 pm non-stop. The afternoon, between lunch and dinner, is the quietest time for a coffee. We’re at 240 rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, between Bastille and Nation.
